Hoje talvez sejamos confrontados com uma questão um tanto diferente. Não é uma questão de terreno e do peso e materialidade da tradição, região ou contexto. Trata-se antes de uma outra concepção da própria terra e das suas materialidades, não mais separada da cidade ou apanhada na oposição entre artifício e natureza - a questão de uma nova geologia, onde a terra deixa de ser vista como o que ancora ou nos fundamenta, mas o que se libera em meio às nossas múltiplas maneiras materiais de sermos outros espaços dinâmicos de luz.
Recusando a terra como o solo arquitetônico original de Husserl, de uma carne que centra, orienta e enquadra toda a nossa experiência anterior à geometria e à física, ou solo nativo de Heidegger - o solo no qual e em que o homem alicerça a sua morada. Encaminhando Zaratustra, o filósofo convoca a renomear a terra para ser chamada de luz. Portanto, todas as fronteiras devem ser lançadas voando e a desterritorialização ocorre, rompendo a moldura e desamarrando a arquitetura dos paradigmas euclidiano e newtoniano. É uma terra sem peso, na qual se constrói a dança e o encontro no meio como um lugar de potencial, criação.
Today we are perhaps confronted with a somewhat different question. It is not a matter of the earthground and of the weight and materiality of tradition, region, or context. It is rather a question of another conception of the earth itself and of its materialities, no longer separated from the city or caught in the opposition between artifice and nature – the question of a new geology, where the earth is no longer seen as what anchors or grounds us, but what releases in the midst of our multiple material manners of being other light dynamic spaces.
Refusing the earth as the Husserl’s original arche-ground of a flesh that centres, orients, and frames all our experience prior to geometry and physics, or Heidegger’s native ground – the ground on which and in which man bases his dwelling. Forwarding Zarathustra the philosopher summons up to rename the earth to be called light. Therefore, all boundaries must be sent flying and the deterritorialization takes place, breaking the frame and unlashing the architecture from the Euclidian and Newtonian paradigms. It is a weightless earth, in which builds dance and encounter the middle as a place of potential, creation.
